Ok, too much american, but sure, americans made this movie. But it was too family friendly even if it was a catastrophy movie. Also this movie is over rated. But ok, this kind of movie, starts slowly, small things happend and the small things just became stronger untill a catastrophy. But one main flaw… the world (US) is destroyed and phone working US system??? That is not possible. Over all, this was a kind of mainstream movie and quite good one. I saw this on a HongKong import DVD.
